Dean of Anglican Formation
Sarah Strand
As Dean of Anglican Formation, Sarah has responsibility for the formation of Church of England ordinands and a brief to develop the range and modes of training that Cranmer offers. Working closely with the Chaplain, students and colleagues Sarah oversees the worshipping and community life of Cranmer Hall.
Sarah studied English Literature before training for ordained ministry at Cranmer Hall. She is completing her doctoral research at the University of Aberdeen on children’s bible reading practices. Having served as a hospital chaplain, in parish ministry contexts and in theological education, Sarah has particular interests in child theology, practical theology, supporting vocations and enabling formation for ministry.
Sarah is the Designated Safeguarding Officer for Cranmer Hall.
