Sherylin Bouyer  

Sherilyn Bouyer is working with Tom Hamilton on the Forging Social Solidarities during Religious Wars  Inventing Futures (IF) project to develop her contribution to The Oxford Handbook of the French Wars of Religion on ‘Postwar Justice’. She has recently submitted her PhD at the University of Groningen, focusing on transitional justice in the bipartisan court known as the Chambre de l’édit in Castres during the period that followed the publication of the Edict of Nantes which formally brought to an end the French Wars of Religion.

Sherylin holds degrees from the University of Nantes and Erasmus University Rotterdam. For the last year of her bachelor’s degree she studied at the University of Turku, Finland. She previously worked as a trainee at the European Parliament at the Secretariat of the Committee on Culture and Education, where she co-wrote a policy study entitled ‘European historical consciousness’. For more on Sherilyn’s research see here.
